We're always upgrading our Bullet Proof Systems™ at every chance, & have acquired the best in state-of-the-art hardware. The 3/4" Grade-9 F911® 190,000 psi Bolts are stated as the strongest in it's class which is the reason they are used in the Aerospace industry ! The 8640 alloy has 56% more Chromium & 100% more Nickel than other Grade-9 's. Bolt heads are 30% thicker. The smooth shoulder is also extended to provide maximum contact surface to the knuckle/rod end rather than against the threaded portion for a secure fit.
We've also made the ultimate bolt even better! We have contracted that all of these highly specialized F911® bolts and slotted nuts be delivered in their natural un-plated state, where they are then stripped so we can personally control the plating operations ourselves, in order to insure maximum ultimate strength and durability. We add just the right amount of plating thickness to create a specific thread clearance for use with our special grade-5 nuts which result in a natural "lock-nut" interference upon assembly.
Plating depth is controlled to a minimum of no less than .0025" thick throughout. Immediately after the hard bright zinc silver plating process, they are baked for 3 hours at 385 degrees to virtually entirely eliminate any negative effects of potential hydrogen embrittlement as well as stress relieved in a tumbler.
Unlike many other base Grade-9 Bolts that are "hardened" to achieve their strength, the F911® bolt gets it's strength in flexibility of superior materials, and is not brittle like the others.

(right) is our Bullet Proof Rod End™ and our unique patended One Piece Retainer Shim™ which is designed to safely contain the rod end assembly and resist it from separating from the rest of the steering system in the rare event of a failure. This safety device *FAR* exceeds the safety of any OEM rod end component in the event of an unforseen rod end separation. And it's included in every one of our Bullet Proof Hardware kits™.

Our hardwared is machined from select premium grade 1045 Alloy Steel which is stress releived, tumbled and shotpeened for superior strength and durability. Then it is coated with a tough layer of zinc-plating to insure long lasting appearance and durability for many years to come.
